The Sibley Sunroom Addition was a straightforward project, but with a strong emphasis on a well insulated envelope. A proper envelope ensures that the space is comfortable and quiet, making it enjoyable year-round.

For efficient temperature control, we installed a split system for both heat and air conditioning – not too hot or too cold, but just right. The combination of large windows with a cathedral ceiling and recessed lighting really made the space feel open and bright. To draw the eye upwards, we incorporated a painted v-groove pine ceiling with a contrasting wood beam. The perfect compliment to the wood beam on the ceiling, we installed hardwood floors throughout.

The sunroom was our second time working with Rick. A few years ago he did two decks for us and everyone who sees them comments on their beauty. It never occurred to us to look for anyone besides Rick to build the sunroom. He and his crew are hard workers, polite, fun to work with and super clean. At the end of each day the work area was cleaned up as if they hadn’t even been here. I would not hesitate for a second to have him for our next job.
